The axe head is casted from high quality carbon - chromium steel - AISI - 4150. After that is grinded and sharpened, tempered in oil and again slightly grinded. I decided not to paint the axe, so you will receive it as you can see it on the pictures above. Covered with oil paper. Made of high quality steel: AISI-4150 Tempered! HRC-50-55 Sharp blade!
