Solid and heavy. I found that the strike plates did not fit existing grooves/screw holes in my door which made installation more complicated.I love how sturdy these feel! They are heavy duty and feel like they will hold up to constant use! The only issue I have is that door wall plate (part that attaches to the wall frame) doesn’t fit. In order for them to fit the previous spot in our builder grade doors from the late 2000’s I had to carve out space. After a few doors I decided to just save time and paint the existing plates black to match. Other than that tiny hick-up I’m happy with them and the quality is nicer than the similar option my local home improvement store had.I received these from the Amazon Vine program and am leaving my review voluntarily.These are packed well in a box. Heavy duty. Has turn button lock. Sharp looking. Would go well in a (modern) farmhouse/rustic theme home.I have not been able to put these in yet, there was a family emergency. I hope to get these done this week and I will update my review with photos.Price was much better for a similar item at the box store. (almost $15 less for EACH door handle)We bought these door handles as an upgrade from our more traditional doorknobs. The dark color fits well with our house's color scheme: primarily light colors (walls, doors) with dark hardware and accents (door knobs, faucets, etc.) for contrast.There appear to be several, very similar versions of this particular style of door handle available; this is the second version I've tried. Among those other versions is one with additional detailing (subtle beveled edges and grooves) that that this particular version lacks...so in that aspect, this version is more plain. However, it's not a significant drawback, as these handles are distinctive enough all on their own. Like the other versions I've tried, these seem well-made: they feel solid and sturdy when handled.These door handles' internal hardware works just like traditional, round doorknobs, and they were as easy to install. Just as with other versions of this door handle I've worked with, we're very pleased: their sleek, modern profile, along with the dark contrasting color, make them stand out attractively, and they work perfectly.Just as a cautionary note: these are rectangular handles with angles--so unlike curved handles and traditional doorknobs, these are going to be slightly more unforgiving if you accidentally bump into them. They also might take a bit of getting used to, as they feel differently in your hand than more traditional doorknobs.
