I’ve just replaced the kitchen mixer tap, installed 11 years ago at the same time as the bathroom tap. The chrome on the previous tap was showing signs of corrosion at the base and the levers were stiff. The kitchen tap is a Bristan and I’m pleased with it, so decided to buy a Bristan for the bathroom.It’s not a cheap option, but I’m hoping that I won’t need to invest again in tap rep,a cement. The washers on these taos are apparently ceramic and designed to last. The tap is heavy and has a quality feel and look to it. I like the fact that it’s British made and there’s excellent product support online and via telephone from Bristan. A plumber installed it and it was all done in a few minutes. I’m very pleased with it.
