After a couple attempts at trying smart door handles that didn't live up to their promise, I opted to just get a regular one... this one.I'm not going to lie, I had a bit of a struggle getting it to lock properly after first installation. So that you don't have the same experience, please be sure that the metal bar coming from the outdoor handle properly aligns with the part it connects to inside the other handle. To do this, actually look inside the inner handle and make sure that piece is the same direction as the bar. It's kind of difficult to describe but you'll know what I mean when you see it. This was a 100% user error and not the manufacturer.This handle has some weight to it! It isn't flimsy "metal" like traditional door knobs and handles which I very much appreciate! It's easy to lock and unlock and I also liked that there were 3 keys included rather than the usual two. That saved me a trip to get an additional cut.This is a well made high quality door set. The instructions were a bit sparse if someone new to this were installing them. They came with all the hardware & keys & look awsome installed! The leaver style is easier to open than traditional knobs so these were perfect for my elderly neighbor to use!My outdoor storage doorknob was almost 50 years old and it was worn. I ordered this as a replacement. The install was easy, which is to say that the installation procedure is the same as any other doorknob I've ever installed. This should fit all standard-size doors. After installation, the doorknob and door felt secure. The operation of it (turning the knob and using the keys) was smooth. It comes with three keys and all the hardware needed to install. The price is fair. I am very satisfied with this product.This door handle is Secure & stylish - super simple install. I got it to replace the traditional round knob that came with our door. We live by the beach and it had gotten corroded outside & inside the lock mechanism. I also LOVE the handle design - so much easer to use with hands full of grocery bags or kid gear. It looks great too - much more modern and finished than the builder-basic round knobs. This handle looks great and was so easy to install & re-key. The kit has clear instructions and my hubby is fairly handy - he had no problem with it. I absolutely LOVE the way it looks with our brushed Nickle key-pad deadbolt. It's function is great too - very smooth to open and feels solid when closed & locked.
